No return, no exchange!
Finally I can now charge my battery, it’s been a long time since they were drained. We went to E-mart last Wednesday to buy some stuffs including the battery. As usual looking for a taxi was really hard, just too lucky it was not raining like the first time we shopped.
When we arrived home my hubby found out that the charger is for Korea use only it is not a world wide voltage which means we can’t used it to other country. He told me I have to return to the shopping mall to refund it if we found a world wide voltage near us. So we went to the store where we first seen a battery charger, so unlucky that it was already sold out. I have suggested to go to Kim’s Club Mart to check if they had a battery, I am too unlucky that they had. Hubby bought it including the two pair of batteries, here comes my dilemna.
Your wild guess is as right as mine, he asked me to return the battery charger in E-mart. I am typed of person, who has a reason in everything. Like telling him “No return, no exchange” policy, my husband get pissed off of me. Well usually that’s the policy in Philippines and I hesitated to return it because the battery has no damaged eh, the only reason is we don’t need it.
So he did not talk to me, until Thursday after class he came home and went directly to the place where the battery was placed. He hand it to me with the receipt and piece of paper with a Korean writing sticked to it , his school teacher write the words I am going to say to refund it. So I went to e-mart by taxi, I did not attend the gym. The taxi driver is too kind to talk with me, all of my answer is smile and a little laugh because I can’t understand what he is saying. All I understand is asking me if I am a Filipino which I replied yes.
Arriving at the shopping mall, I look for information booth as what my bad mood hubby says. Well I found a booth, thinking if it is or not I walk to the right and right there I found what I am looking for, REFUND. I handed the battery and the receipt to cut it short it was refunded.
With the reason I am already there, I loiter inside and look for something cheaper. When I came home I took a taxi again, handling them a piece of paper written with our address. And like the first one, the taxi driver spoke to me. Asking me if I am an English teacher, I replied it is my husband and not me. To make it short we don’t understand each other, I just showed him my ARC. But he still don’t understand it, so he asked me if I am from Canada after looking at my ARC, I just replied yes so there’s no more further explanation because it will still end on nothing. We are not going to understand each other no matter what I say and he say. I am just astonished because most of the time the drivers don’t talk when I am with my hubby.
My hubby scolded, not really scolded me like a child but just tell me that as if I know everything when I reasoned out. Okay, his right shopping mall in Western country do refund.
