Scrambled eggs with tomatoes

Yesterday I have been hooked up to blogging and  clicking my paid to click sites after going to Watsons so I forgot to eat my breakfast and lunch. Using the left over tomato in the fridge I fried it with scrambled eggs as I have done cooking I set it aside in our bed as if presenting it to Pookie bear “What is that crap?” he said upon seeing it. I told him it is eggs and tomatoes, he never gives attention to me as I am eating.

After eating my late brunch and early dinner, I continue with my online task and left my left over eggs and tomatoes on top of the microwave oven. When it’s time to eat his meal he tasted the crap, and he likes it so much that he requested me to cook for him on his next meal. That’s why I went out last night to buy tomatoes and soy milk and then headed to Watsons again.

So last night I cooked twice of eggs and tomatoes for him since he wanted more, thrice if mine is included. Pookie bear told me from now on if he said he want special egg for his meal  that’s it, tomatoes and eggs. How ironic, that the food he called crap, he is it calling now special, Lol, it is special for him, he doesn’t know “halos mapurga na ako sa kakain niyan sa Pinas” aside from Sardines with “Miswa” or Upo that’s one of our main dish especially in the morning.

Anyway, my ingredients:

eggs, tomatoes, salt, oil, garlic and onions

Procedure:

  1. Scramble the eggs
  2. Saute the garlic and onion until brown
  3. Add the tomatoes and cooked until it tender
  4. Add the scrambled eggs and mixed it in the pan

Oh wait, I added mono-sodium in my recipe, guess what happened. Pookie bear’s had a headache last night and his sinusitis bothers him. He is allergic to mono-sodium, so no more vetsin next time.

Chicken Kimchi Stew

As what I have said before I love experimenting with food, these past few days I have been tired eating adobo, chicken or pork. I want to try another dish and we have nothing here but kimchi so I tried to cook chicken and kimchi the other day and the result was great. I’m loving it!

Chicken Kimchi Stew

Pookie bear says it doesn’t look good, so I told him to try it because it tasted good but he won’t do it because he said he is on a diet. After few hours I found two chicken bones in the sink  and then my food container is almost empty, well your guess is right as mine Pookie bear cannot resist the temptation so I told him about his diet he just said he will ate small amount in the evening than the usual amount, he is  also using the soup to his scrambled egg. So as of today I have cooked another chicken kimchi stew and someone’s gonna drool over it. Lol!

My ingredients:

Chicken, Kimchi, Salt, Black pepper, Oil, Onion, Garlic, Water

Procedure:

  • In a  sauce pan or in a pot sauté garlic and onions on cooking oil.
  • Add the chicken to the pan. Friend it a little then add the kimchi and stir.
  • Add water enough for the chicken to boil.
  • Seasoned it with salt and black pepper.
  • Wait until the chicken became  tender.
  • Serve hot with plain rice.

Cooking the best exercise (lol)

I had a busy day yesterday in cooking, I made hamburger patties for my sandwich, cooked sauce for my spaghetti and boil the pasta. I put spam on my spaghetti sauce this time as well as beef even though the spaghetti sauce I used has a meat already. It looks like there’s a birthday party but the truth I am the only one who will eat all of these this week because Pookie bear is back on his diet., so mangan tana!
After few minutes Pookie bear asked me to accompany him to super market because we are out of stock of some goods at home like olive oil, onions, eggs, brown rice and etc., Since I arrived here in Korea, we don’t have sugar at home because I am the only one drink coffee and plus the fact that coffee here are instant or three in one you are going to think that it is not needed anymore. But these past few months if you have read my old post I always encounter food intolerance or I called it food poisoning before (lol), a realization came to my mind that I badly need sugar in those instances. That’s how it works in Philippines right? Like if you eat a fish and suddenly your face turns red for sure your parents will asked you to eat  a spoonful of sugar. Partly too, I think my coffee needs sugar too, these past few days it does not tasted good to me anymore, it just tasted like water with coffee.
The sad part Pookie bear won’t pay it because he said we don’t need it, if you are going to notice our life here looks like we are just playing “bahay-bahayan”  our knife is very small to cut a squash we don’t have a frying pan until I bought one in my own expense. Pookie bear don’t like buying things because we cannot carry them all if we moved. All he wants to carry is his bag of clothes.
