Chicken Adobo
It seems these past few days my blogs is all about food, I am thinking of making a food/kitchen blog well actually I already have one in wordpress named Cozynah as I am learning how the site works like but just like my other blogs I just started it and done. It’s empty anyway because I don’t think I can manage few more blogs, it is easy to make and update templates but what is hard is updating it everyday. Posting relevant post is hard thing to do if you have nothing to write.
Anyway today I have cooked chicken adobo, it’s been a long time since I cooked chicken. I just ate two pieces when I had a lunch and just tonight when I went in our kitchen I found out a voracious bear eat half of the food, what’s left with the whole chicken is a small bowl. Don’t know what happened to his diet plans because during weekdays Pookie bear don’t eat meat or something sweet and oily. Now he is asking me if it is possible to cook pork adobo and I said yes so he wants it on weekend.
Sweet Tangerine
When I wasted something Pookie bear will not buy this thing anymore, like when I wasted two pieces of banana. He told me no more banana, so what we got the other day is a bag of tangerine which is almost wasted too. I just put them in the box and when Pookie bear checked them last night some are already moldy, so he decided to keep them in the fridge in my objection because I really don’t like eating fruits that are cold, anyway I decided to eat some of the tangerine and I found out those tangerine with moldy part are the sweetest. So I ate the part that are secure from mold while watching Saw VII.
Sharing on New Year Celebration
Hi guys how’s your New Year celebration? About us, we’re asleep during Christmas and New Year’s eve it is the second time we missed it and I was not able to jump when twelve o’clock morning strikes (hehe) still wishing to be more taller. I don’t if it is real but I just started jumping when I was in high school when some of my distant cousins did it and since then every New Year I jump.
Anyway the other day my younger sister posted some photos on how they celebrate the New Year, they celebrated it by sharing. That means they had a feast, every house hold in our family must have a share of food on the table. My sister says their part is to cook pancit and I don’t know what are the others part. Anyway below is my father cooking a lechon, he is always one of the cook if there’s a big celebration. Beside him is Goma (not the actor) my cousin’s friend and assistant. The lechon is shared by my older cousin who landed a job after so many years of vacancy, as public teacher.
This is the second time we they celebrated New Year like this sharing, the first time I was there which is years ago, our share that time is just “puto” because my mother knew how to make a puto by flour with cheese. Well as you can see they also had a videoke, I wonder who rented it from town. The venue was on my Aunt house, the eldest daughter.
What I wish this New Year the whole Faderogaya family will be united, no more envy to each other and misunderstanding. No more fights too especially most of the members now are professional.Hopefully this will be the start of strong ties and bonding. One blood, one family.
Oily sweet Wednesday
Last night Pookie bear and I shop for our daily supplies, we bought meat and vegetables too. I decided to buy one whole little piece of squash. After sometime I feel hungry and decided to cook but the darn thing is I can’t cut the squash into pieces or even into half. Our knife is too small, so I have asked Pookie bear to cut it for me. So he did but he is not done yet I grabbed the knife from him and decided to peel the squash before cutting it into squares. Pookie was a little anxious the way I cut them so he told me why not boiled it so it is not that hard to peel and cut so I did. (Lol). Anyway to cut the story short I just sauteed the squash with meat and Pookie bear likes it a lot that nothing is left anymore for me to eat tonight.
That’s why I cooked another viand, my menu for tonight is meat cooked in a ketchup not spaghetti sauce anymore. I used the old carrots in the fridge I think these carrot are already 2-3 months in our fridge (lol), I just used the present ingredients in our apartment and did not bother to buy anything because most vegetables here are sold per pack or grams not like in Philippines you can buy per piece.
After eating I feel like eating something sweet so I keep whining to Pookie bear I want to eat chocolate that he told to eat the one in the fridge (a gift I received from a local) but I remember I still have chocolates on my bag so I look for it and I found Bounty Chocolate and some Bangladeshi chocolates. Anyway Bounty is my favorite chocolate now, I love coconut so much and Bounty has it.
Oh yeah, if you noticed my blog template here changes in every minute because I am trying to change my template and guess what happened? I lost all the blog in my blog list that stops me from updating it, I am sorry to say that. So if you want to add your blog in my list just leave a message.
Glad to be home …
Hi folks, finally we’re home. We arrived last night here in Korea, our flight was delayed for thirty minutes because of traffic in the sky way (lol). We took a taxi for one and half hour so we arrived at our apartment at around twelve o’clock in the morning. I just empty our bags, load the laundry in the washer, hanged the clothes and and off to bed, feel very tired and sleepy while Pookie bear is sick but he managed to take a bath before sleeping.
When I wake up this morning, the same old thing. Washed our shoes and washed another batch of clothes. And cooked rice, white and brown. Soaked our white socks and wash them if the balcony is already free from wet clothes. It is a tiring vacation instead of long rest and instead of leisure what we got is colds, sick, loss bowel movement and etc., it seems our immune system goes down, thinking if we brought a parasite with us, anyway this sick feeling really happens when you visited a dirty city like Bangladesh.
Our six hour flight from Malaysia is really tiring, especially if you have no proper sleep from the previous days. No proper food too and etc.,when I first used my computer I feel new, lol. It seems I already forgot how to manipulate my own gadget. Haha, I am looking for a mouse and not a scroll pad.
A Glimpse of Lunar Eclipse in Korea
Happy Tuesday everyone. Finally I’m done with my other commitments online and now my time to blog. Have you seen the lunar eclipsed today/tonight? I’ve seen a little of it, I am busy walking in the thread mill (gym) when Pookie bear asked me about it and he pointed the moon half covered with the earth’s shadow. Darn I forgot about it, just too bad I didn’t bring the camera with me, so I am just contented watching the moon while walking in the thread mill which is lucky enough that the gym’s wall is made of glass and the thread mills are facing the right view. Anyway I asked Pookie bear to hurry expecting that the eclipse is still there when we get home, to cut the story short we’re done with the work-out but on my dismay I can’t see the moon. If I can just moved those taller buildings in front of me why not, so I lost hope. While walking home I’ve seen a little of the moon and I am not expecting to see it in front of our apartment but guess what? I did, I’m still bless to see a little of it.
The funny thing though we we arrived home I immediately grab my camera and turn it on, the red light is flashing, low battery. Luckily I have extra batteries, but was not able to take a lot of photo, guess what I am out of memory. My 2G memory is full from previous photos, I did not transfer them to my computer, lazy me.
Christmas Poser
This is just a quick post, I just wake up and I am on hurry but I still manage to blog. Lol, I am going to Seoul today to pick-up our passport hopefully with visa to Bangladesh. They only have one hour pick-up time so hopefully I can make it on time.
Anyway here’s my recent photo taken in Itaewon subway, there’s a small place for posers along the corner and I take chance to have one.
Boredom and Sweetness
It’s normal day today finally I had sleep for a long hours after the busy week of traveling to Seoul. I wake up six minutes to two o’clock in the afternoon and of course the lazy me instead of eating my brunch I was busy surfing online. Then in my surprised Pookie bear asked me what I want to eat because he says he is going to cook for me I thought he was kidding at first, anyway I just requested hot coffee but he is very kind and he served it with walnut pie which he also heated in the microwave for few minutes.
I have asked him why he is very sweet today and he says he was bored playing on his computer. I wish he is always bored (lol) because at dinner time he also prepared a banana milk for me, and this time he just want to experiment I just noticed it when I’ve done drinking all the fruity milk it has peanut butter on it even I said I don’t like to have peanut butter. It is the second time he mixed peanut butter on my shake as long as there is a jar of it.

I guess I need to change my blog title to A LAZY BLOGGER, I am feeling lazy to blog which is not noticeable because my post are too long . Dork! But that’s how I feel, it’s been one or two weeks since I joined meme’s except Nostalgia of course, and now I am joining again this meme every Friday.

Enjoying the Snow in Korea
As of four o’clock in the afternoon there is a snow fall here in our place, I’ve been waiting for it because there’s already snow fall in Seoul but here it is still sunny. Then as I am working in front of my computer our room turns dark so I turn on the light and decided to cook rice , lunch as well and when I peep in our window Yay, it is snowing. The excited me went out with my shorts and thin shirt without a slippers. Lol, I didn’t even take time to get my slippers in the cabinet because I was such in a hurry. Click..click..click..then my feet cannot take the cold anymore I went inside and look for my sweater and grab my slippers in the cabinet. Click..click..again and I decided to shot a photo of me in the middle of the snow forget about the noodles I am boiling I’m busy on what I am doing.
Then returned again inside our apartment and cracked some eggs, Pookie bear will not be happy if he found out I did not cook his meal. After it, went outside again, now wearing a winter jacket and shoes. I left the noodles in the pot, the two locals working on the next apartment look at me maybe wondering if it is my first time to see snow. Lol!
Just so lucky that this metal thing is in front of our apartment so I was able to set the timer of my camera and take photo of myself. Hehe..when I returned inside our apartment the noodles for my pancit canton was not good to eat anymore, it is too sticky and wet. Now this is how it looks like after the snow. Scroll down..
Just kidding, this is how it looks like in Canada right now. My mother-in law send this pic to Pookie bear and it was send to me after wards. My MIL says classes were postponed because some of the roads are not working, blocked by snow. As I look at the above photo it feels like your are living in an Igloo because snow is more than half of your house. This is just a two days snow how much more one week?
