Today when I woke up I have noticed that Ms. Pephot already sent my prize for their contest entitled Kaye and Pephot Blogversary Contest. Thank you so much!
Going Home to Icheon
When we arrived at Express Bus Terminal Station it was around 10:45 in the evening, actually we get lost for a minute because there’s two line for bus terminal, so sad that there’s no more bus left for Icheon. Last bus left at 10:10 in the evening, hubby was kind of pissed of because he don’t want to stay and sleep in the terminal to wait for another bus tomorrow. We asked the guy outside the counter if he knows what is the last Bus going to Icheon in Dong Seoul Bus Terminal, he said around 11:30 in the evening so hubby and I run like hell going back to the subway station hoping to catch up the last bus in Dong Seoul. Dong Seoul is 36 minutes from Itaewon and around 30 minutes from where we are. We arrived at Dong Seoul Bus Station at exactly 11:25 in the evening, so unfortunate that there’s no bus going to Icheon again.
I asked him what we are going to do, he said don’t want to wait and sleep in the terminal so he asked me if I brought my ARC because we are going to stay in a hotel, going out at the exit door of the bus terminal some taxi driver’s approached us. We said Icheon and they said a price, at first it cost 50,000 won but when they saw our address in a piece of paper because we have to make sure we have the same place on our mind. The fare goes up to 70,000 won take or leave it. Hubby take the price even I told her it seems high, he said it’s just the same price if we are going to stay in a hotel. The good thing with that price is when can go home and rest without thinking that we need to catch a bus again the other day. After one hour and few minutes we arrived in our home sound and safe.
I found the picture above so cute, hubby is scratching his head thinking where to get fare for the taxi (lol). He is so cute at the picture like a little boy, hehehe.

Well as I said on my previous blog we ate in a Mexican Restaurant in Itaewon, so here’s my share for mellow yellow Monday, I was not too shy to take picture of my food this time because Catlaine was there who’s also Picture crazy as Anthone (her husband) called her.

Still hungry for dessert after the dinner, hubby is craving for a cup of coffee and doughnuts so when we saw Dunkin Donuts in the subway station we went inside but they’re already close so we found from Krispy Creme in another subway station we get off the train, I got a big can of Ice tea too.
So much fun in Itaewon
Last night we went to Itaewon to meet Catlaine and her husband, they’re my our new found friend. I’ve met Catlaine online, she’s one of the people who uses my travel blog as guide going her in Korea. She just arrived here in Korea seven days ago, and our meet up was scheduled yesterday.
Our scheduled meet up time is 6:30 PM at Itaewon station, exit 4. We left home around 4 o’clock something, bus left at 4:57 in the afternoon, there’s traffic along the way that cause us to arrived Express Bus Terminal at 6:15, Jezzz we are kinda late. We’re still going to take subway then transfer one station, when I saw a payphone I dialed their number to tell them we are going to be late but unfortunately their phone was just ringing. So hubby and I just take the train, thinking maybe they left already.
I think it’s already quarter to seven when we arrived at Itaewon exit 4, I am grasping for air when we arrived at the meeting place because we did not use the escalator in hurry, we took the long stairs. Luckily they’re still there waiting for us, so after hi and hello and where Catlaine hug me so tight that I can’t return her hug tightfully because I am really grasping for air.
I feel so Blessed Today
When I woke up today to cook my husband’s breakfast, he ask me if my earrings broke up. I was startled, and touch my ears all I found is a tiny gold metal, his holding some stones, beads or what do you call those tiny stones in an earring. I wonder where are the other tiny little pink stones, I directly went to the fridge to get the big container of kimchi, I don’t know what’s on my mind but I dropped the container on the floor. Just so lucky that the container’s lid did not open but was so unfortunate that the container broke up that makes a little hole, the liquid from the kimchi was scattered on the floor. I feel nervous that time thinking what’s happening in the Philippines, am I paranoid?
I just washed the big container and put in our recyclable stuffs so we can throw it when the bag is full, then transfer the remaining kimchi in a smaller container. After my husband meal we are ready to go to the bank, he is going to send savings abroad. I am already in the outside when I remember I just brushed my teeth and never drink any glass of water so I returned inside our house while hubby’s still looking for something. It took us so long inside the bank, going home hubby run when he saw the FedEX big delivery truck in front of our apartment, the delivery guy was going to paste a sticker to our door when we arrived, we’re still on time huh? It’s hubby new credit card, because his credit card number was stolen for the second time (lol).
When hubby left for work after one hour, I just sipped a cup of coffee and no more. My mother and sister was online so we talked and I told her that Xoom already bid goodbye to Paypal so there’s no other way that I can send my online earnings home. I have asked them if they could register at LBP iAccess, because I believed you can see your statement account online, because we need to know how much was the amount of the two small deposits paypal account has sent a month ago. So they did, luckily my guess was right you can see your statement of account, deposit, withdrawal and etc., unfortunately the date were looking for that paypal sent two small deposits has only amount on it. So it’s a bit confusing, what I did I divided it to two so I logged in to paypal and submit the result of my decision or whatever you called that. OMG, the paypal account was verified and I was so terrified with it because I can’t believed that I submit a correct answer. Who knows that maybe paypal sent two different small amount, right? So I was really happy that time, it’s a burden that was out of me.
Days going smoothly my new friend Catlaine and I had a little chat or whole day chat (lol), we’re so funny while busy looking for more earning opportunities online, when I log-in to my account I found out that there’s some comment on my blog “It’s not Just A Blog” I really make sure that google will notify me if ever I have comment on that site because I always foresee them especially when Ateh Pink left some marks on my comment box (hehehe).
One of the comment was from Genebei, telling me to check a link because I won $20, I was shocked, surprised, triggered, terrified, amazed whatsoever you called that feeling that I can’t explain, because I never expected that I am going to won or be included to the lucky winners, the contest was Kaye & Pephot Blogversary Contest, I have seen that contest every time I did blog hopping but I really did not care to join because I don’t think I can make it, reviewing some sponsor’s blog and posting comments everyday, you know I am typed of person who’s to lazy to comment when I don’t feel like doing it. But Genebei do me a favor, so in return I do the same to her that’s being her referral on the contest in order her to gain more points , being a referral I also became one of the contestant or the other term. After doing it I have found out that she already left some invitation on my Travel Blog a night/day ago.,
So I never expected anything about the contest, never know that the contest had already ended and there’s already a winner including me, if not from Genebei I wouldn’t know that I won (lol).
Just wanna say THANK YOU VERY MUCH to God for the blessings, to Genebei, if not to you I wouldn’t win and to Ms. Kaye & Ms. Pephot (I wonder what’s her real name but I call her Mr. on my email , what an ignorant I am) for hosting a big contest like that. Thank you for sharing your blessings, May God Bless you both always. Anyway first prices was $200….so big for a small earner like me.
Kalipunan ng Liping Pilipina
Remember my previous blog? Where I said pink was just for little girls? I was wrong with it, pink is for big girls too, for everyone boys and girls, ladies and gentlemen.

Snow Balls or Egg Shells?
Just can’t resist myself taking picture of the plants near the park in front of the Elementary School while I am passing by, I went to the supermarket the other night to buy Spaghetti sauce for mandu/dumplings or siomai as what we commonly named, the way I look at it I remember my mother’s driftwood in the Philippines where egg shells were put as design.
Still snowing
Still snowing here in Korea, pictures below was taken yesterday in front of our apartment. When I wake up today the street is all clean, locals already clean the snow in the street.
Maybe it also helps that it rained last night.
My Lunch at 12 AM
I wake up around one o’clock in the afternoon yesterday, late riser huh? Because I sleep around four o’clock in the morning? Why? I don’t know, I just found myself editing some template, and writing few articles to earn few cents..,until today I’ve been working with my new template because I always change my mind which template I am going to edit. Finally I was through, I have tried to use it here on my blog but I was not satisfied, so I am just going to dumped all the effort I made (sigh).
I just had a coffee and eat few breads after I woke up, eat few dumplings for my breakfast. And now around twelve in the morning, I just ate my lunch. Below was my lunch, I bought it at Family Mart few hours ago, I was so scared when I am going home because I am all alone in the street, when I heard footsteps on my back, it was a drunk man. I walk-run, the strong wind makes me scared so much (lol). Thinking I am in a horror movie, Jezzz..I think I have to stop watching horror movies for a while..what do you think?
Anyway these meal was composed of rice, bugolgi, kimchi and pickled radish. It cost W2000 or P40.00 In Philippines I already have 3 or 4 plates of Kumo., Actually we have rice grain but I am so lazy to cook it especially I don’t like the variety of it. Jezzz, if you are going to cook it ,it is still a rice grain, it was also a brown rice. So what I am doing if I want to cook it I am going to soak it for few hours before cooking.
Kid’s Section
These picture was taken few weeks ago when we went to E-mart to shop. I just can’t resist to take a shot while I am waiting for hubby to finish his business. Most of the shoes where pink and if you’re going to look around you’re going to see little girls wearing pink clothes and shoes. I think Pink is really a color of little girls..hehehe
