When I was still a little kid, my knowledge is limited to what I learned from school , on what I see around me and at our home. All I know leaves has only one color and that is green, but when I grow older and can now walk within a miles I discover a lot of things, leaves or plants is not just green in color, there’s read, brown, yellow and a lot more.
Here’s red maple tree as an example, its leaves is red and not green. This tree is one of the most common and widespread deciduous trees of eastern North America. It ranges from the Lake of the Woods on the border between Ontario and Minnesota, east to Newfoundland, south to near Miami, Florida, and southwest to east Texas. Many of its features, especially its leaves, are quite variable in form. At maturity it often attains a height of around 15 m (50 ft). It is aptly named as its flowers, petioles, twigs and seeds are all red to varying degrees. Among these features, however, it is best known for its brilliant deep scarlet foliage in autumn.
I first saw this leaf, in Canada’s national flag.

Maybe you’re wondering if this is just the same cat last week from
Sri Lanka , well its not. They just had the same color, I found this cat in a different place guarding a pair of slippers. Its a custom that when you visit a temple in
Sri Lanka have to leave your slippers/shoes outside, you have to enter the temple in your bare feet.
If you don’t have rupees to pay for the shoe booth where a guy will look for your footwear you can just left your them outside, nobody will get it.

It’s hard to be sick especially when you are in a strange country that only few knew how to speak a little English.
Hubby is feeling sick since yesterday, I think he got a flu. His body is sore and have a fever I am so worried that I don’t know what to do. He don’t want me to buy a medicine for him because he is not used to take one, he asked me if I want to eat Chinese food, I told him no because I am so worried to left him alone.
To cut the story short, I still went out to buy Chinese food even there’s a heavy rain, but that’s not all I did. I also bought a flu medicine to the nearest drugstore I’ve seen, how did I do it? I translate “flu medicine” to Korean language via google translate then I wrote it in a piece of paper (see photo above). So when I go to the drugstore I just show the paper with the words I have written. Below is the medicine the lady gave me.,
I am not to sure even the lady says
doggam yebang so when I reached the Chinese restaurant, I ordered a take out. My shyness was no where to be found anymore, she told me to sit but I did not, I asked her if it is for flu and show the medicine and the small paper if it is right? The young lady replied yes so I sit down in one of the chair at the nearest table. Maybe in order to be sure the lady came near me and look at the medicine and to my piece of paper. So I asked her again if it is a flue medicine, and she said yes.
I feel relax even I am little cold, even I have an umbrella I still get wet. I just noticed that your shyness disappear when you are very worried about your love one. So when I get home I asked my husband to eat but he don’t feel like eating, I gave him the medicine I bought. He asked me how did I get it and etc., he did not trust the medicine what if it is not the right one and so on.., so I told him not to take it if he don’t trust the medicine, land just wait until Monday and show it to your co-teacher. Well he still took the medicine after eating a toasted bread with peanut butter.
We sleep early, when he wake up this morning he is not too hot anymore but still weak and feeling cold with muscle aches. As of now he is still feeling sick, I am asking him to bring him in to a doctor. He keep mouthing I am like a mother., lol
Symptoms of Flu:
- fever (usually high)
- severe aches and pains in the joints and muscles and around the eyes
- generalized weakness
- ill appearance with warm, flushed skin and red, watery eyes
- headache
- dry cough
- sore throat and watery discharge from your nose

My head is aching again but aside of that I wrote three blogs, I am not planning to blog today but I can’t remove it from my system. The reason of my head ache, skipping meal, my eyes or lack of sleep. Either of the three or all of the above. We wake up early today as early as 9:20 in the morning, we went to the bank so hubby can pay the agent in China that will going to take care our visa in North Korea, after one hour its done but I can’t return to sleep even I want too. I just keep rolling in top of the bed, I ate around one o’clock in the afternoon, noodles for my brunch then piece of apple at 4:30 and a small of pack of ready made spaghetti at five o’clock something then gym at 7:30. I am not eating properly that makes me feel weak and I am over using the computer, 12-14 hours a day is not healthy anymore.

It is Thursday again time to share and talk about being a girl. Anyway Girls Talk has a new host on this month, BeautyQueenGene.
OMG! It’s hard to say this words, I love my legs, my butt but not my stomach. I am one of those unlucky who did not got a flat stomach eh. I think all of my fats is going there, as my mother says I look like a frog, thin legs and arms but bulgy stomach. Lol! You know even I ate a lot I am not getting very fat, but my stomach is getting bigger.
My asset is my legs, I am not ashamed to wear skirt at school. Feel proud when everybody is looking at me and praising my long legs, my smooth and tiny legs. Hehe wala akong balbon kahit sa kili-kili siguro epekto ng “Ding ang bato!” in short panghilod!…Other envy my legs, my perfect legs once my older cousin says to me. Huwag lang sila tumingin sa tuhod ko, lampa ako noong bata pa eh laging nadadapa..Lol! Anyway That’s one of the assets I am thankful I got from my mother my smooth skin, so even I am not white but brown makinis naman balat ko..hehe saka my mukhang hindi tinutubuan ng pimples saka mga matang hindi ko madescribe… My butt is soaring high too, hehe over….. I mean I have a not so big butt in short not pados which sometimes I jokingly tell my mother na yong pagpalo niya sa akin noong bata pa ako ay worth it. It makes my butt bulgy..hehehe
Sometimes I am thinking if wishes really came true, as what I have said before I am a bit if boyish, so once in my life I wish or I talked to my bust not to grow big so my wish was granted, I am flat chested, di naman masyadong flat my slope pa naman. Anyway I love my body, kunting height pa siguro.
And finally since I am attending work-out in a gym, waaahhhhhh…..nagkamasel ang wala kung kamasel-masel na katawan. Pakonswelo ni hubby “Its okay, I like it” hmmmp but I don’t like it eh.
Anyway I am sorry folks, I can’t post the continuation of my so called novel I mean life, it’s too long to encode. I think the other pages is also missing so have to find them on my bag. Seeing this pic it feels nostalgic to me. Those photos were taken in our sala, our mini-stage during photo shoot you’re not going to be surprise if you see all of my pictures were taken in that place. My first photo I am wearing my sister’s uniform in Kanidugan festival, part of their costume. Second my skirt from high school when we dance in the tune of Asereje, dunno if I dance that time or I just turn around and finished. Haist malambot pa sa akin ang kawayan. Kailangan ko muna ilaga baywang ko before dancing. Hehehe

Yeah right this is my first time to wear the traditional clothes of Korean women here in Korea, called Hanbok which is often characterized by vibrant colors and simple lines without pockets. Although the term literally means “Korean clothing”, hanbok today often refers specifically to hanbok of Joseon Dynasty and is worn as semi-formal or formal wear during traditional festivals and celebrations. Modern hanbok does not exactly follow the actual style as worn in Joseon dynasty since it went through some major changes during the 20th century for practical reasons.
I have experienced to wear this during the Lotus Lantern festival where one of the lady in the booth approached me if I want to try it. This is my new profile photo in facebook so when my sister saw it today she emailed me that I already look like a Korean, I replied back “just in clothes“.
