These past few days the temperature is getting severely hot during the day and especially during the evening, it’s already summer. Water supply has been small since December 2015 and it is getting smaller as the day goes by so we have been busy during the morning collecting water and watering the plants since the water won’t come back anymore until the next day. Yeah right, the warm temperature doesn’t do any good, I felt so terrible and uncomfortable during the day and even I would like to freshen up myself it is impossible because of the poor water supply.

To add more life discomfort the internet connection isn’t doing well these past few days, and then system failure after the network had maintenance on their system so I am doing nothing much at home but look upon the ceiling and count lizards.
What to expect this summer is heat wave, a prolonged period of excessively hot weather, which may be accompanied by high humidity, especially in oceanic climate countries. Many people has been reported collapsed and died in the street because of heat wave these past few years.

It was the first Sunday of the month and as usual the church service started very early. Pastor E invited a new speaker in the person of Reverend R, he preaches in three languages, English, a bit of Tagalog and a bit of local dialect from his place of service but he speak mostly with English language.
The scripture reading was found in Matthew 22: 34-40 with a scriptural topic of Congregational Health. It tells about the Greatest Commandments, how a Pharisees expert in the law asked Jesus what is the greatest commandment in the Law.
Reverend R focuses on relationship and love, God’s love to us, our love to God and our love for one another. He says, it is very hard for everyone to ask for forgiveness because of the so called PRIDE. The person who first asked for forgiveness and fixes a relationship wasn’t always the sinner; mostly it was someone with love in his heart. He added relationship is an important teacher, so we should be mindful with our relationship to God and to our neighbours. A good relationship with God but with no meaningful relationship with fellowmen doesn’t do good; in vertical aspect it has no power if we didn’t fix our relationship with others.
Reverend E says that the foundation of every relationship is love and the essence of foundation of relationship is God. He aslo says love is more important than understanding and mysteries. Love enhance and increased the harmony, love is not become angry. We are expert in adding pain in someone’s heart so he challenge everyone to be mindful with our relationship because what’s the point of collecting bad feelings when it doesn’t do good to us, it will just make us old. Reverend E ended his preaching by telling that let God take care for ourselves and let us take care with one another.
Christ is our peace, those who are divided are made one. Christ has broken down the barriers of separation by His death and has built us into one body, with God. To whomever repents and believes, Christ has promised reconciliation. So love as people reconciled.
Reverend E left after preaching since he needs to do another service in the nearby town as speaker. There is a church hopping after the service, and after which the church will go swimming in the well-known beach shore but I didn’t go with them, I went home after the service.

There is a new member in our family; it is female cat that I temporarily called “Sam or Sammie” short for “Sampot” a local dialect for someone who just came by without noticed. I have first saw her one night I am washing the pet dishes, I have heard a cat crying and when I’ve asked my mother about it she pointed out it was our orange kitten. It was a bit raining that night, then suddenly someone flash a light into me which surprised me so I shout out of fear, it was our younger cousin picking red pepper at night and when he came nearby I have asked for his light so we could check the corner where I have heard a cat crying and there we found “Sammie” who’s a bit soak in the rain, I gave her food and she disappeared the next morning and then showed up again the next night and then she started staying in our house even during the day.
One day she is out of sight after hearing a cat-fight the previous night, she didn’t came home for a day and the next morning I woke up I have heard a cat crying near the irrigation canal and when I look around I found “Sammie” in top of the acacia tree so I called her and she went down before I can find a post to poke her down. Since then she’s been in our home for almost a few weeks, she was a bit sick with colds maybe because from being homeless from unknown period.
Sammie has a color resemblance to “Dongsu” the cat we rescued from the tree and her tail was also the same with Dongsu’s sister, we are thinking they are related; they are either siblings or have mother and son relationship.

When my mother uttered out that there is a rainbow I immediately took my camera and take a photo of it from our window but when I wasn’t satisfied on my shots, I went out despite it is drizzling rain. When I saw my cousin’s little daughter I called her and pointed out the rainbow, she immediately went beside me and pointed out her cute pink pumps in her feet.
She was very proud of her new pink shoes and when I asked her who bought it, she immediately answered that it was her mother, I subsequently talk to her while taking shots of the rainbow and even told her that it is raining and muddy she shouldn’t wear her shoes and when I asked her if she is going to school she replied she won’t and our conversation ended since she saw her playmate.

It is the last Sunday of the month today, Pastor E and his family is already home but the church already invited a new speaker, which is Pastor J.
The scriptural topic this Sunday was from the book of 1 Corinthians 13: 3-7 and 13 with the scriptural topic about God’s love. According to Pastor J, love is sacrifice. If we love God His words reflect to ourselves, if we have something to sacrifice for God it would be our time.

Love is trust (1 corinthians 13:7) without trust there is no faith. We should always trust God and let Him rule with our life. Pastor J says that trust is also important among married couple so that their relationship won’t fail and prosper.
Love doesn’t fade away (Psalms 136), Pastor J says we should go far away from God’s love and we should love God as always. She set an example how a young couple started their lives together as very sweet couple and they go to church together and how they ended walking to church separately after 50 years of marriage.

Today, there is a lot of beauty regimens in the market but I don’t know a lot about them but not so long ago I tried using BB cream or Blemish balm since my face became old and dull, aside from BB cream I also bought dark eye concealer since the skin below my eyes are quite dark like how a panda looks like.
Honestly , when the world around me become gray I look even worse than before but seeing how my sister take care of her self I was encourage to do the same especially when my mother says I am still young but I already look like someone in their 50’s. Yeah right, it was been a long time that my mother and other relatives had told me that I already looked like a woman with dozens of kids since I can’t even comb my hair at home and then even classmates and instructor in college who accidentally saw me in town always blurted out that my sister dress well than me so I decided to slowly look after myself to regain courage and self-confidence, although I only used these beauty regimes when I go to church every Sunday.
Sometime ago a friend had encourage me to learn how to use makeup since she is doing well with it but being not vain and because my sister was the one who do makeups at me when I am younger I declined the thought of learning how to use makeups.
Anyway, with the help of the young sale’s lady in town where my mother is affiliated as a dealer I was able to choose which BB cream to use, I have asked her opinion which Bbcream is the best since she used one daily. I chooses Ever Bilena Advance BB Cream Whitening and Advance Perfect Eye Concealer.
BB cream is promoted as an all-in-one facial cosmetic product to replace serum, moisturizer, primer, foundation and sunblock. It can be worn alone as a tinted moisturizer, over serum and moisturizer as a regular foundation, and under powder, depending on the desired amount of coverage. {source}
Well, I’ll post the review some other time.

Today, my sister went to town to take an exam for job opportunity as Social Welfare assistant in one of the government agency in the country. I have help her research yesterday about possible topic in their exam since she said the exam will maybe only an essay. She doesn’t have enough time to study what we have researched so I told her just to remember the key points and if explanation is needed just explained the things according to her own understanding.
She has civil service eligibility so she has advantage on applying job at government agencies but it was also a discrimination why some other non-government related work will not hire her like when she tried to apply as sales clerk while waiting for an opening in the government agencies but the owner who’s also an acquaintance won’t hire her because of her eligibility, she was told that the store can’t compensate her well. Lol
Anyway, I wish her luck on her exam today. I hope it has positive outcome! 🙂
Update:
She was called for a pre-screening interview but didn’t showed up since the job location will be far, in rural islets of our island.

When I am looking for clothes to wear to church last Sunday I saw the golden yellow blouse that my mother had sent to me in Korea almost five years ago. It was one of the few clothes that were left to my closet after I gave my old clothes to my sister and relatives when I gained a lot of weight a year ago. I tried the said clothes and it fits perfectly so I wore it and asked my sister to take photo of me because I was excited that I am able to wear the clothes again after wearing it only once when we traveled to India.
When I found an old photo wearing the same clothes taken almost five years ago I uploaded them both in Facebook because I was amazed that the clothes fit well on me but some of my friends noticed the other way, they compliment me that I look well today, I guess it is the magic of BB cream I had wear that day! 😀

It was been a long time since I blog about my dreams, I have been dreaming lately but when I wake up in the morning it is getting hard for me to remember what’s my dream all about. Last night I had a long dream; it started seeing myself in a hut with my family and relatives. It seems like someone is getting married and everyone is busy preparing, I saw myself in adjacent room tending my kitten and then I saw in the window that someone in black cape passed by chasing another being in superhero dress. I went to another room where everyone is busy, I took with me the kitten since I found a set of poop where she’s on leash, and my mother scolded me for bringing the kitten since it might poop as well in the room.

Then my dream jump seeing myself being a passenger of a motorcycle I am with my friend E’s parents, it looks like our motorcycle can’t accommodate me and we are all rushing home for something. We are traversing a road along the sea when we saw a ship moving towards the shore and when we passed along the port the ship isn’t a ship but a new bus moving out of water and then we started to panic because we are running out of time, it seems like the bus will pick the passengers with movie tickets along the way. In a curve road I saw the bus stop to pick the first passengers, they were my friend E’s parents, they are well dressed and that’s where I felt shocked, if I saw them getting on the bus who am I riding with? As what I know I am travelling with them in the motorcycle then the motorcycle stop running, it is broken and the people I am with in the motorcycle is the market vendor whom I always saw growing up since she’s friend with my grandmother, dunno who’s the driver and what’s her relation to him. When the motorcycle stop working I was in frantic because the bus might passed along our house and I am going to miss it, so I have thought to call my sister to picked me since they drive ahead of us but what’s surprising I am now with my friend E.
Then I don’t know how my dream jump seeing myself driving a bike from my friend E’s house and then I went through a church and pray outside, my dream ended when my mother woke me up since I asked her to woke me up early morning so I could use the internet since it is very slow during the day.

Today is the second Sunday that Pastor E wasn’t around, it is quite noticeable that the church wasn’t the same as when he is around, there is a lot of vacant chairs. Anyway the speaker this Sunday was a friend and school mate, she is licensed and practicing teacher and I expect a lot from her but like a saying says don’t expect a lot so you won’t get disappointed.

It was like I was attending a seminar about smart phones and the applications you can installed in them. She focused in this topic a lot rather than to the bible verse which is to be found at Luke 18:1 and Matthew 21:22. It was only the latter that she was able to get on the topic when she shared a educational video how God left the cross to us and how He help us go up when we are down.
Well, I understand that she would like to pin point how important smart phone to every one and how people neglected the bible and how convenient it would be if God has His own Facebook and Instagram account but explaining the ratio and how these mobile applications works isn’t too important when you are speaking in front of the congregation, if it was seminar that’s given but people go to church to be blessed and not to learn about modern technology.
Disclosure: The above written post was my own personal opinion and might be different from yours.
