Fruits. That we have in our fridge in our second week of juice fasting unlike the first week the we shop for vegetables. Some of the fruits we bought are kiwis, peaches, oranges, grapes, lemon, apples and few vegetables as well, as usual we bought two bags of carrots (8 kls) for $10.47 as it is a good deal.
The only thing I don’t like shopping to Lotte Super here in our place is it is quite far that we had to carry heavy shopping bags.
Anyway here are the benefits of eating fruits like:
Kiwi it is rich source of vitamins A, C, E, B – complex, calcium, iron and folic acid.
Lime or lemon is the most cultivated citrus fruit with green to yellow colour loaded with vitamins A, C and folate. Juice of lime is good for detoxification and has antioxidant properties.
Orange contains vitamin C, flavanoids, provides pectin and rich in sodium when ripened in sunshine.

I just came to the point that oh my one more hour and I didn’t blog anything yet., I am just quite busy tweaking themes no matter I try to divide my time, I can’t when I am engrossed on what I am doing., oh well just too bad I can’t share anything good today on the food I cook or eat so let me just share the cheats I had few weeks ago.,
I seldom eat junk foods like chips and curls, so mostly when we had a cheat day I run into bread or chocolates but there are times it feels tired eating sweet food and my tongue is longing for something salty and I had this onion rings, my husband all time favorite. Lol

As what I have said on my health blog we bought prunes or dried plums yesterday and we mixed it in the blender with water and turn it to juice that’s how simple it is done. Prunes taste like raisins but it is not raisins,
Prune juice is distilled from dried plums, usually by re-hydrating the fruit in water and extracting the liquid. The deep purple elixir is a virtual cocktail of beneficial nutrients and vitamins. Although the most famous characteristic of prune juice is its high-fiber based laxative effect, experts suggest many other health benefits are also possible. Source

Yesterday is Chuseok here in Korea, a major harvest festival and a three-day holiday in Korea celebrated on the 15th day of the 8th month of the lunar calendar so most of the establishment are closed aside from the 24 hours convenient store. Instead of feasting with food I am starving for food because of the juice fasting.
Anyway my husband and I decided to take a short walk to energize and let our blood circulate, the more we walk the more hungry I felt seeing food stores and restaurant.
Dunkin Donuts is among one of the open store which I am surprised because before the donut shop is already closed at ten o’clock in the evening but as of last night it is quite full. Most of the people I’ve seen walking around is family., maybe they’re visiting their parents and grandparents. I have seen a mother and her daughter walking, I have thought the child has a white puppy with her on leashed but when I look carefully she has no white puppy with her. Did I just see a white puppy ghost?

This is my simple version of Egg sandwich, just fry the egg, sandwich it to bread and top it with mayonnaise and ketchup. This serves as my late meal especially when there’s a lot of bread I need to eat before its expiration. I missed this meal as right now we cannot eat anything solid even though I cheat last night by eating potato chips I decided to return to our juice fasting, I already loss weight since we started.
Oh well I know this food is much better to served during breakfast especially if there’s hotdog too.

On my first day of juice fasting I can’t really stop myself from craving foods other than the juices so that night I divulge myself to this box of Toffifee chocolate, it is hazelnut in caramel with creamy nougat and chocolate. My husband don’t allowed me to eat this because I am going to lost on our deal, but I have a strong excuse the chocolate will expired next month so before it expired I have to enjoy it rather than the garbage or ants will do it for me.

I am not really into flavored coffee, coffee and milk is already fine with me, so I seldom buy coffee on coffee shop. Few nights ago we happened to stumble to Gs25 for late snack and I have seen this Starbucks Frappuccino (Mocha) and I remember I have these kind of drink last Chuseok when we are in Busan so believed it or not it is almost one year since I had this., haha..
So I asked my husband to treat me a drink in short I got these bottled cold coffee, I found the bottle cute so instead of putting it away on the recyclable bin in our house I keep it.
And I it is not a mistake keeping it as it serves as my bottle on our juice fasting, here’s my first juice on our first day of our juice fasting (last Friday), it is a mixture of carrots, cabbage, ginger and etc., after drinking this juice it gives me weird feeling, my stomach feels upset it feels like there are rats running around looking for place to hide.
I was not able to started it fully that day because I have eaten the remaining rice as my lunch top with spaghetti sauce and for dinner the songpyeon.

It’s been ages since I joined nostalgia because I have been busy and partly I can’t think of something that will remind me. The photo below was taken a year ago in our old apartment in Seoul, it has two rooms and the small room that will supposed to be kid’s room is our dresser or room for clothes. We are heading to China the next day that’s why our clothes are already packed and only left on the rack are my day clothes.
That day too my husband new camera just arrived and he took a sample shot of me while closing the door in the balcony.

It just started by my things filing up in the closet, small towels, unused brassiere and underwear’s that are still packed on their little pouch. My husband noticed that the stuff on the little board is getting heavier and it might lost control and will result to a big mess.
So he removed the makeshift board at top and transfer the underwear’s and socks to floor cabinet, and the things on the floor cabinet to the built-in cabinet near the main door and my junk in the built-in cabinet to trash can and box.
It took me so long to segregate things as everything are precious to me, we ended up throwing the red food cover given to us by Nonghyup Supermarket, the old scale, old umbrella and my old sandals then after cleaning we went shopping to Lotte Super, we shopped mostly vegetables I’ll blog it to my food blog if not today maybe tomorrow.
