Few months ago my husband and I went to the super market to shop goods for our weekly supplies but before we did, we first went to a store for home supplies and decorations, we are trying to look for blinds for our window but the store is quite big that we almost lost our hope to find one. As we cannot find it we try to look for floor lamps but we all we found are table lamps, so we just walk around passing every shelves and we finally find the window accessories including blinds, hangers and metal pipe  or curtain holders. They have abundant supply of blinds and we try too look for something we are gonna like but the realization came, we don’t  know the size of our window. If we are going to buy,  either we are  going to waste money or be happy if the blinds fit the size of our window, it is hard to gamble and wish for luck so we decided not to buy last night. We walk out the door and went to the supermarket to shop our food supplies.

I am trying to find the tape measure on my bag as what I have remembered I brought one here when I left my home country but I can’t find it, wish to find it soon so we can buy blinds for our window. It is quite disturbing  when the light in the garage is on.

Last week when I went out to buy something for home, Pookie bear told me to look for beans in Kim’s Club but before going to the supermarket  I decided to walk in the town market to see if there’s beans, I saw an old woman selling something like beans so after going to Kim’s Mart to buy some supplies I return to the place where I saw the old woman, I don’t have a plan to buy but the way the old woman looks like she is so sad and lonely, like business is not good that day as I don’t see anyone stopping and buying something, so I stop in her front and pointed the beans which is green peas by the way and asked how much, she said “Samcheon” but as I don’t know how to speak Korean and I cannot understand anything, I gave him 5,000 won ($4.62) , then asked her if it is enough or right, I don’t know if she understand me or not but she wave her hand like telling me its okay and I can go away now, anyway as I am not really sure I waited for few seconds  to give me change but as what I can see she slowly put the money so I said to myself maybe I have no change, so I walked out and she never called me to give a change or something.

When I reached home, I feel like the green peas is quite expensive for 5, 000 won so I went to Google translator and translate the monetary amount English to Google, and there I found out Samcheon is 3,000 won ($2.77). Lol! Then Pookie bear who just came out from the bathroom asked me what did I bought. I said I bought a green peas aside from the items he told me to buy, he gets little angry as I didn’t follow our rules again not to buy items not on the list, he added he told to look for beans and not buy green peas,  I replied I feel pity at the old woman so I bought something to her.  He asked me how much is it, I told him the woman says “Samcheon” but I gave her 5,000 won. He laughed after hearing it and says I feel pity but the old woman ripped me off, lol.

To make it short, I pay for the green peas from my allowance he don’t want to shoulder it as it is my fault and it is not in the list and I am the one who bought it and I am the one who will eat it.  So I eventually paid, I didn’t think any bad thoughts about the money but had a slight thoughts that maybe she really ripped me off, anyway I just told myself maybe the old woman thought what I am saying to her is, I am giving her a tip as we cannot understand each other. So next time I guess I should learn how to say to numbers, price, amount in local language. Anyway as the Bible says if you do good things to others God will bless you it means  it is a good Karma but I don’t know if I do a good thing,  I feel blessed these past few days, I  am quite busy designing WordPress Theme, I got a direct advertiser on my site and now I have a page rank.  Thank you Lord!

I am not active in blogosphere lately,  sort of busy and I have nothing to post, the ironic thing is when I am out of blogging world I have so many ideas on my mind to blog but once I log-in and plan to blog, nothing is left. Either I am empty on idea or it feels like it is worthless to share or to blog.

Jezz, few days ago I am craving for corn because it was a long time ago since I ate corn. I am craving because I always see corn in the food place near the gym so one day I bought  one packed for 3,000 won about 3 dollars maybe, imagine how expensive is it, in Philippines I can buy a bunch of corn with that money but the fact I am not in the Philippines  I have to eat the corn to the fullest..Haha!

After I lost my writing career online errr I mean opportunities on writing blogs since my blog with PR was deleted and I didn’t received any writing offer I don’t earn anymore, I eventually published my old post from my deleted blog to my blogs which are distribute according to categories so don’t be startled if you think you already read them, they are scheduled post which is so good that I did because I am quite busy these past few days not on writing article but on tweaking templates.

Yes, I design themes for free at first but my friend keep telling me to ask for fee, so I eventually did and the blessings keep pouring, I don’t know if I can make them all. Charot!  Oh well, as I would like to tell story how do I started with this, its not the day for being nostalgic, so I hope I could post on Thursday.

If before I wake up two o’clock in the afternoon now I have to wake up at 10 o’clock in the morning just to continue dropping EC to my frequent visitors,  if before I just log-in to Facebook once to twice a day now I don’t log-in at all, so if you wish to contact me just email me because I also seldom open blogs, haha.

By the way, I am quite busy today. Pookie bear is really annoying sometimes because when he knew you are busy he will make you more busy, instead of frying the chicken breast without oil I have to grill it with the electric grill, it would be fine if I am not going to clean the grill,. so it took me long time to clean the kitchen.

Haist,  just wanna say thank you to Ate Vernz for the untiring support for promoting my designs to her community (I owe you one!) ,  haha and to everyone who promoted it as well, too many to mention you know who you are my heartfelt thank you, I really need bread  as this moment because my father has no job so my mother asked me if I already earned from writing articles, if you don’t know yet all my earnings were send home, so far in my two years of existence in blogging world I earn $300 and a few, lol. So small but its better to have something than nothing, right?

Last Sunday, June 12 is my father’s birthday (Happy Birthday again tay!)  and as usual it is just a normal day. Independence day bring memories to me because  once upon a time I went to school with bruises and marks,   do I need to blame the Philippine miniature flag? Haha!

All I can say is I am tired and not just feeling tired, I wake up very early  and started tweaking, I have already tweaked my two other blogs but I am not still happy with my travel blog so I might change it again in the near future. Well I am now a  certified self hosted wordpress blogger! Such a relief thinking my blog is safe from Blogger deletion (lol).

Last night Ate Belle installed everything for me which is I am very thankful of. (Thank you again Ate) Pookie bear keep asking me to do things as he knew I am busy so he keep disturbing me,  he even feel a little mad to me because I don’t clean properly as I am always on hurry to be in front of my computer so today I cleaned around, clean the molds in the wallpaper,  mop the floor with soap and bleach and clean the kitchen, cooked and be sure the sink is clean with no empty pan waiting to be clean when I am going to cook again. Haha, so right now I am dozed off,  I already feel sleepy and really feel tired, sorry guys for not dropping to your blogs lately, I am busy and going to be busy again, I am not anymore studying but I need to make a narrative report  for my sister, waaahhh. I didn’t not watch the movie so how can I make a narrative of it, they are the one who watched it at school, well it’s one of the rule of being an old sister, isn’t it?

I am excitedly waiting for the box of vitamins  from Mom because Pookie bear says Mom put some Easter chocolates on it. So I am patiently waiting for Friday, yesterday is a holiday it’s Buddha’s Birthday!

Living here in Korea just feels like stressful to kids,  after school they’re going to  Hagwon to learn music, Mathematics, English, Taekwondo, Arts and etc., so it is normal to see kids and high school student in the evening. I even see high school students as late as nine o’ clock they are still in the street, walking home or inside the school bus. When I am still a student nine o’clock is already bed time for me, I wonder if they still sleep because they have to wake up early in the morning to be ready to school except if there is an afternoon class here.

If you’re wondering what is Hagwon it is a private school or as Wikipedia defined it Hagwon (Korean: 학원) (also hagweon or hakwon) is the Korean-language word for a for-profit private institute, academy or cram-school prevalent in South Korea.

Well maybe that’s why Korea is progressive than Philippines because they study well and give importance to education, as far as I remember when I am in grade school I never open my notebooks to read what is written in each pages, I would rather read a comics than my notes.  Just thanks God I am constantly in star class, sometimes I wonder if I know the word study during those times maybe I will be in honor roll, but anyway forget about that because I can’t celebrate birthday at school to treat my teachers and classmates, blow-out in short and too far to be teacher’s pet. Well we can’t deny the fact that during those times it is a plus points, I just don’t know now a days.

Anyway back to Hagwon, English Hagwon is the most popular here where a lot of native speakers worked as a teacher.  So if you are graduate of four year course and a native speaker, looking for experience and want to travel you know where to go.

As I have blogged yesterday I went out to buy iron supplements for me, before buying it I’ve seen a newly open store where there’s a lot of Korean girl’s in chaos. So after I went to the pharmacy I went inside the store, oh well the store looks  like Redeye where the primary products are earrings, hair accessories, key chains and other small accessories. I took a little  basket and I also look around like others, its kind of busy and there’s really a lot of girls, grown up and even primary students busy on choosing key chains maybe for their bags. I don’t think they already appreciate bangle earrings eh, so they are on key chain stands which are made in different shapes, animals and cartoons.

The store has no counter yet, the guy was just standing in a tall chair with a head microphone and speaking something on their language, and usual I am into earrings even though I can’t used them as we don’t always go out, aside from taking sight seeing plus it is also very unfashionable to wear long earrings and you are wearing pants, t-shirt and rubber shoes. Hehe, So I just bought them to keep or somehow for my sister or else it can be a good business for my mother to sell few Korean accessories, and I am going to save for that. Hehe

As I have blogged lately I am bored but I just found out it is not really boredom, it is simply tiredness. I am not very energetic, I even feel weak going to gym. I already observed for the past few months that I always got a cold feet and hands, my husband keep teasing me I am a cold blooded. If before wearing socks can comfort me these past few days it won’t anymore, I still feel cold not my entire body but as what I have said just my feet and hands. So last night I research what does this feeling cause, so here’s what I have found out:

• Parasites
• Allergies
• Hypo-Thyroidism
• Anemia
• Candida

So today I went out to buy iron supplements. The pharmacist gave me two kinds of iron supplement I picked this one because this is the cheapest for $55.08, the other one is times two.  It is 120 tablets good for 4 months.  When I reached home, Pookie bear asked me to return it to the pharmacy because it is very expensive just for iron supplements but I didn’t follow him because it is such an embarrassment. So the end result I have to pay for it, my three weeks allowance was gone. Huhuhu

Just a little information Anemia is a decrease in number of red blood cells (RBCs) or less than the normal quantity of hemoglobin in the blood and is the most common disorder of the blood.  Some common ymptoms are feeling of weakness, or fatigue, general malaise and sometimes poor concentration. They may also report dyspnea (shortness of breath) on exertion. In very severe anemia, the body may compensate for the lack of oxygen-carrying capability of the blood by increasing cardiac output. The patient may have symptoms related to this, such as palpitations, angina (if preexisting heart disease is present), intermittent claudication of the legs, and symptoms of heart failure.

Well finally our toilet was fixed, a real plumber came and used a toilet auger to removed the stuck tooth brush, I did not see it though because I run to the nearest bank here in our place to withdraw if ever we need more money to pay the plumber. When I returned home the plumber’s truck is not in the front of the apartment anymore, so I when I went inside our apartment someone is having  a cool time surfing the net without cleaning or removing the said toothbrush in the bathroom floor. Pookie bear’s co-teacher was the one who called the plumber, I think she look online for a plumber. The guy who first came here its not really  a real plumber but a tile installer, I mean his business is tiles. He is a friend of our landlord so they gave him the business and maybe he is the one who installed tiles in this apartment. Anyway Pookie bear’s co teacher also got the money we payed to the first guy, so what I owed to Pookie bear is 2 weeks and half of my allowance. I made a bargain with him if it is fine just to make it two weeks and he said yes, but I make a deal again what if he just deduct half  in on my allowance every week.  Then he replied its fine, 5 weeks.

When he returned to school for his next class, I went to the bank to pay bills and I could say I can pay my bills alone now using the machine, because the last time I pay I have to ask the woman at my back what’s next by pointing the screen to her. So on next month I am not going to disturb the guy in the information counter. If you don’t yet I am very happy that I finally established a communication my aunt and cousins in Germany,  my cousins are already teenager except for the younger who is eight years old if I am not mistaken. I just saw them on pic when they are a toddler and I am in Elementary., and since then we have no communication with them.So as I feel happy and relieved I decided to enjoy  and treat myself by shopping some small stuff for me. Love my new little  teddy bear..hehe

Well it seems our toilet will be plugged for a long time or maybe forever after I accidentally dropped my toothbrush in it, the plumber insist its fine and he don’t think the toilet needs to be open, lol. He also said we have two choices, to get the money back from him but we have to go to their office which is we both don’t know where is it, or he is going to return in our apartment the next time the toilet is plugged. So does it mean he is going to come here everyday after we sit in our throne? Anyway what he didn’t understand is the toothbrush needs to be removed in the toilet, because it is stuck in the curve pipe.

So my husband get annoyed not just to me but to the plumber and to his co-teacher as well. Right now he is contacting Dad asking if he can come here in Korea if he will shoulder his air fare just  to unplugged the toilet here, I don’t know if he is serious but that’s what I read  on what he is typing right now, nosy me. I wonder how much does it cost, from Canada to Korea so might not be serious because if he is I am going to be in a shit hole. I might not have allowance for five years or more considering the amount of allowance I received from him weekly, which is just for chocolate treats. So sad!

So right now we need  a plumber, a real plumber! Haist if we are just in Philippines, any person can do this as long as you are willing to pay. It is cheap too $6-7 a day., so I suggest to Pookie bear maybe we don’t need a plumber, a laborer will do because my father can also fixed our plugged toilet and he is not a plumber.
