Finally the box I’ve sent to Philippines last Friday arrived today to my family. I thought it is already gone missing because when I tracked it the last information the box arrived in the Philippines and nothing else.
My sister is so happy upon seeing pringle’s in the box, she said it’s been a long time since she’s been asking our mother to buy her pringle’s so the pringle’s I’ve sent is just on time. One of the souvenirs I’ve sent was broken so they just glued it. Maybe the box was not carried carefully or they just throw it away (sigh). Oh well the good thing is the box still arrived., my worried feeling for it is gone.

Did not do much today, we’ve sent the box of goodies home. It’s been here for few months already and I didn’t have a chance to send it until today. My husband got annoyed when I didn’t open the door for him in the postal office, it just happened that I forgot about it, haha plus I am walking after him, so he told me that next time he wouldn’t carry my box anymore.
After gym we walked to the bus station to buy street foods like hotdog, sundae, teokkbogi and a lot more which I cannot remember the name. We feasted at them when we reached home,.

Yesterday was Pepero day here in Korea like what I have said it is similar to Valentines Day where couples exchange pepero sticks or chocolates. My husband came home with premium chocolate sticks from one of his student and pepero’s.
Early in the morning today I went to Family Mart to buy Pepero because he is craving for Pepero and he asked me to treat him, so below was my treat to my husband I bought each type of pepero I saw in the convenient store.
And this is me with my Pepero loot a long pepero stick, my husband bought it from our favorite bakery in town. Hmmm, my loot is not that much huh, unlike last year.

Today is just another busy day, I wake up at noon time. After earning points on my adgitize account I have to start cooking, yeah right stressing.
Anyway our apartment stench again that I need to close the bathroom door, it seems the people in the second/third floor is making kimchi because it stinks like one. We are on the ground floor so I guess when they washed their dish and the water went to the drain the gas went up. Yesterday it also stinks like garlic and kimchi, then later afternoon I found out that there are people having barbecue party in the garage so probably they prepared kimchi for their barbecue party and washes the dishes today.

Today is public holiday here in Korea to commemorates Gaecheonjeol or National Foundation Day in English . This holiday celebrates the creation of the state of Gojoseon (ancient Korea) founded by Dangun Wanggeom in the year 2333 BC.
I don’t know that is holiday today when I wake up I am startled why my husband is still sleeping when he has a work in few minutes, so I asked if he has no class. He chuckled while saying I’ve been here for a long time and I don’t know the public holidays are.,
Anyway tonight when I went to throw the garbage bag I’ve seen this big stuff toy, it is still okay just kind of dirty. I think a little kid owns this as there’s a lot of brown spots which I believe from chocolates. Just washed this and it will looks brand new, dunno who’s going to be the lucky owner, I can’t pick it up because it is too big for a box to Philippines.
Anyway the origin of the holiday, Gaecheon refers to 3 October B.C. 2457, the date when Hwanung descended from heaven to live with mankind. The harvest ceremony was celebrated in each Korean kingdoms; Yeonggo of Buyeo, Mucheon of Yemaek, Gyeeum of Mahan and Byeonhan, Dongmaeng of Goguryeo, Palgwanheoi of Silla.
In 1909, Gaecheonjeol was enacted as a national holiday. The festival is held annually. At first, Gaecheonjeol had been celebrated on 3 october on lunar calendar but it has been celebrated on 3 october on solar calendar since 1949.

I am quite busy these past few days tweaking some theme so hope you understand why I seldom visit and left a comment, anyway I stopped tweaking for a while because my computer is not working properly I think because I have a lot of images in my computer plus I have only 15G left on my hard drive even my hard drive won’t affect my memory it still disturbs me thinking that 16G USB has a bigger space than my computer. So I am cleaning my computer and updating all the necessary software.
Oh well today I went to the postal office to mail the box for a friend in Philippines it’s been in our apartment for few weeks and I just mailed it. Actually it supposed to be mailed in Christmas like what I told her but I guess she is excited, haha. Like what is expected the postal fee is expensive than the amount of what is inside the box, haist life!
Dunno if we are going to the gym today we didn’t go last week because we prefer to walk around the neighborhood nope actually city because we reached up to the national road to Seoul. It is spitting outside, so the sky is kind of dark.

Yesterday is Chuseok here in Korea, a major harvest festival and a three-day holiday in Korea celebrated on the 15th day of the 8th month of the lunar calendar so most of the establishment are closed aside from the 24 hours convenient store. Instead of feasting with food I am starving for food because of the juice fasting.
Anyway my husband and I decided to take a short walk to energize and let our blood circulate, the more we walk the more hungry I felt seeing food stores and restaurant.
Dunkin Donuts is among one of the open store which I am surprised because before the donut shop is already closed at ten o’clock in the evening but as of last night it is quite full. Most of the people I’ve seen walking around is family., maybe they’re visiting their parents and grandparents. I have seen a mother and her daughter walking, I have thought the child has a white puppy with her on leashed but when I look carefully she has no white puppy with her. Did I just see a white puppy ghost?

It’s been ages since I joined nostalgia because I have been busy and partly I can’t think of something that will remind me. The photo below was taken a year ago in our old apartment in Seoul, it has two rooms and the small room that will supposed to be kid’s room is our dresser or room for clothes. We are heading to China the next day that’s why our clothes are already packed and only left on the rack are my day clothes.
That day too my husband new camera just arrived and he took a sample shot of me while closing the door in the balcony.

Nothing new around me aside from wishing to lose weight, the other day my husband shop for our daily supplies as we run out of rice. He want to buy 10kg of rice as he don’t like carrying a big sack but when I found out that the 10kg of rice is same price of the 20kg I insist of buying it. He agreed in one condition I am going to be the one who will carry the rice without thinking I said yes despite that Kim’s Mart is quite far from our place, the money that we are going to save is the only thing matters to me.
After shopping for other stuff and paying into the counter, I asked him to put the rice on my head. Oh well, maybe he felt embarrassed to other people that he is the man and I am the one who will carry the rice he told me that he will carry it. So the result I carried three large bags and it took me forever to go home. Lol! I am just carrying less than 10kg what if I ended up carrying the 20kg of rice I might roll in the street just to go home. Silly me!

It’s been a long time since my last post here huh? I was feeling sick these past few days then my monthly visitor came that makes me roll in pain, then the next day I just wake up with headache. It feels like my head is spinning dunno where did I get it all I know I just ate rice that night before I sleep, Pookie bear says maybe I am dehydrated so I drink a lot of water but the headache won’t go away, then I recall the pain I felt when I encountered food intolerance it is the same feeling. I immediately took some spoon of sugar and rested for a while I feel like vomiting but my stomach is empty though.
So the whole week I just lay down on bed, watch some TV shows online and sleep, as I would like to post something on my blog or design some wordpress theme I can’t do it since I feel sick, I remember my Facebook update that I feel like my head is gonna explode that’s what I felt these past few days, it feels like my head is gonna blew up if I force it to think. Teary eyes added to the injury it looks my eyes don’t like the bright of my computer dunno if I am gonna retired from blogging or I need an eyeglass. Huhuhu
So sorry guys for being away. I am thinking of returning to my tweaks as soon as possible. See yeah!
