All I can say is I am tired and not just feeling tired, I wake up very early and started tweaking, I have already tweaked my two other blogs but I am not still happy with my travel blog so I might change it again in the near future. Well I am now a certified self hosted wordpress blogger! Such a relief thinking my blog is safe from Blogger deletion (lol).
Last night Ate Belle installed everything for me which is I am very thankful of. (Thank you again Ate) Pookie bear keep asking me to do things as he knew I am busy so he keep disturbing me, he even feel a little mad to me because I don’t clean properly as I am always on hurry to be in front of my computer so today I cleaned around, clean the molds in the wallpaper, mop the floor with soap and bleach and clean the kitchen, cooked and be sure the sink is clean with no empty pan waiting to be clean when I am going to cook again. Haha, so right now I am dozed off, I already feel sleepy and really feel tired, sorry guys for not dropping to your blogs lately, I am busy and going to be busy again, I am not anymore studying but I need to make a narrative report for my sister, waaahhh. I didn’t not watch the movie so how can I make a narrative of it, they are the one who watched it at school, well it’s one of the rule of being an old sister, isn’t it?
I am excitedly waiting for the box of vitamins from Mom because Pookie bear says Mom put some Easter chocolates on it. So I am patiently waiting for Friday, yesterday is a holiday it’s Buddha’s Birthday!
Buddha’s Birthday, the birthday of the Prince Siddhartha Gautama, is a holiday traditionally celebrated in Mahayana Buddhism. In Korea the birthday of Buddha is celebrated according to the Lunisolar calendar. This day is called 석가탄신일 (Seokga tansinil), meaning “the day of Buddha’s birthday” or 부처님 오신 날 (Bucheonim osin nal) meaning “Welcome Buddha Day”. Lotus lanterns cover the entire temple throughout the month which are often flooded down the street. On the day of Buddha’s birth, many temples provide free meals and tea to all visitors. The breakfast and lunch provided are often sanchae bibimbap.

Feeling tired right now, early this morning I was awaken by the air serene and loud Korean voice announcing something, too bad I cannot understand it that I went back to sleep. It is not war yet, what came to my sleepy mind it might be a drill and sort of announcement.
As it is holiday tomorrow “Children’s Day” and the gym will be close we attend a gym tonight, for three consecutive days, after gym. Do the first batch of laundry and cook fried rice two times, download some photos in my sister’s Friendster account and now blogging while eating jelly ace. They’re almost one month in the fridge and I just have time to eat them. Well what else? Well yeah my weight, I lose one kilo Pookie bear keep teasing me I lose muscle and not fat.

According to Wikipidea in South Korea, May 5 is officially recognized as Children’s Day (어린이날). Parents often give presents to their children, as well as spend time with them. The children are taken on excursions to zoos and museums. The holiday was originally celebrated on May 1, but was later moved to May 5.

Most people loves chocolate so much, same with me. As I have told before I am not into chips, corn chips or any salty chips, because I am into chocolate puffs or choco puffs in short. Well I love potato as well, so I go with potato chips too which I seldom eat.
Anyway I don’t know what to called these puffs but if the flavor is cheese we called them cheese puff isn’t it? So this is chocolate flavor so chocolate puffs. This is food what makes me happy when I am still kid and my first choice whenever I went to store for sweet cheats.

As expected of sleeping late it is too tiring to wake up early, as I have blogged previously we should be in Seoul today but guess what when the alarm clocks strikes,
Ryanne: “Sweetie, I don’t wanna go!”
Pokie Bear: “Me too, I am too tired, let’s just see it next year“
So the result return to bed, we slept as early three o’clock in the morning and wake up at seven o’clock in the morning, and it seems four hours of sleep is not enough to start our day and travel to Seoul and in that case we have to wait until next year to be able to witness the ceremonial rites (Jongmyodaeje a Royal Ancestral Memorial Rite of Joseon) as it only happened once a year on first day of May. Haist, what a long wait, next time learn to sleep early!

There are times I am organized but most of the time I am messy and one fine example are my things as shown below, this is just beside my side of bed where I can just grab the things I need when I am sitting in the floor or in my little chair while doing my task online. As you can see there are boxes where my things are kept, like notebooks, pamphlets, calling cards and some souvenir items. And hey there’s also a small bowl of grapes, I am eating it last night but I was not able to eat them all before I slept., so it was just left there because I hate drinking and eating cold food but I love ice cream, what the heck! My battery charger was also in the floor together with my black backpack and a Missha paper bag, my container of candies, accessories and etc., We have a not so large white cabinet just near the front door but it is full of my junk, plus I don’t like walking by and by when I need something.
Actually Pookie bear had asked me before if I want a metal shelf for my things but I declined his offer, he got one though for his side of bed. You, know the frugal me reasoned out we are just going to waste it because we can’t carry it once we moved.
Yesterday when we are going to gym we found a small wooden shelf in the trash/garbage area (where I took a photo of the sala sets) we didn’t care about it because we usually see shelves better than what we saw. Going home after gym Pookie bear asked me if I want it, he said its kind of dirty. I said No then Yes and I can clean it so he returned because we are few steps away and carry it. I run home, haha and tease him “garbage picker”. Haha, wala akong utang na loob (inner debt). So I cleaned it last night and let it dry in the balcony as the wood is wet, maybe its been there since last night because it rained until morning. Today when it is already dry, I just glued the outer strips/layer (zoom it and you can see a thumbtacks) it seems the previous owner did not think of using glue/rugby, he use thumbtacks and brown packaging tape to attached it and when we picked it the strips are almost gone but with the help of the thumbtacks and brown packaging at the top it is still attached to the body.
Anyway here’s what my side of bed looks right now, as you can see it is really just beside my bed and looking to my computer screen I am busy dropping EC cards. Maybe you are wondering why the flower is quite far from the Pringle’s container, my camera is situated in the center you can’t just see it because I am using it to take the photo below. The bowl of left over grapes is still there, lol.
I placed it in the corner because it does not look good with the first position (above picture). I think Pookie bear is already annoyed of my messy junk in the floor, I cleaned it but once I need things I can’t return it to proper position as I am quite busy clicking and dropping. He knows I wouldn’t accept a new metal shelf, so he picked the wooden shelf without embarrassment knowing he is white foreigner. Haha, as what he says Reduce, Reuse, Recycle – thank you sweetie! Mwah!

This is my first time to buy, cooked and eat fish in my almost two years stay here in Korea. There are times I think it is very ironic because way back in my old town, I always eat fish as we are surrounded by water (our province) and I always had a complaint “fish again” as fish is more cheaper than meat. I think way back then I already cooked different menu for fish so it is not tiring to eat like fried, adobo, paksiw, pinangat, ginata, sinabawan, escabeche and etc., sardines is already included in the term fish huh?
When I went here in Korea I expected I am going to eat more sea foods because it is my favorite, shrimps, clams, squid and more but I am damn wrong, in my first year all I ate is instant food, noodles, instant burger patties, ottogi soup and other food that is unknown to me. Before I spend one year I am so glad that I was able to tasted fresh meat and cooked fresh food, because my previous months was really depressing maybe that’s the reason why I loss weight that time because I just ate noodles plus our rice is also instant, microwave oven was very helpful that time. My husband is even pissed off of me complaining “I have nothing to eat”.
By the way I bought this fish without permission yesterday, I just told him I am going to by beef for my source of iron but since it is kind of expensive I had these fishes which same price of it (lol). When I reached home I cooked it and he was annoyed because he said I told him I am not going to cook it but I am cooking it. He thought I am going to eat the fishes raw with vinegar, we didn’t understand each other when I told him I am going to cook it in vinegar. So he said if the apartment and his clothes stinks I am going to pay, gladly it didn’t not because I turn on the cooking fan and close the bathroom door and open the window as the fan tube or whatever term is passing through our bathroom.
My ingredients:
Fish, onion, garlic, vinegar, salt, water
Procedure:
- Wash and clean the fish, remove the intestines and gills
- Put it inside the pot, add vinegar, water and chopped onions and garlic
- Cooked it and add salt to taste
- Let it boil until it is cooked and done
In our town they called this recipe as “Pinangat” or “Pangat” which is kind of surprising to me because just add it with ginger we called this “Paksiw” in Tarlac. I think this is far different from the Pinangat of Bicol which is a nice blend of taro leaves, chili, meat and coconut milk wrapped in gabi leaves and tied securely with coconut leaf, commonly called “Laing” in Manila.

Have a blessed Good Friday everyone, had nothing to do tonight my internet is kind of slow I don’t if it is the result of raining here in the morning or any other factors with our internet provider. Well as usual when I weigh myself instead of losing weight I am gaining weight, I am trying to change my diet but sometimes I really can’t do it, I skip meal or forgot to eat one meal and when I eat it is food for two or might be three.
Been doing fine lately with my cold hands and feet since I took iron supplement, I also feel energized going to the gym, well there’s only few people in the gym tonight probably because it is Friday and everyone is having their rest or we are just too early for are work-out. I seldom update this blog here, there are times I want to join meme and I am already looking for a photo to share but I just don’t feel like posting it or I don’t know, I had a TV show marathon these past few days while blog hopping or clicking my click sites.
Writing articles is quite slow lately, no opportunities to grab so I can write. Help anyone, can you suggest a good paying paid to write sites?

Just enjoying my time alone being busy lately, busy sleeping and cooking (lol). You know, just taking my time resting from those tiring days, our hiking was moved again in May 17. Hopefully this hiking will materialize that day because if not, no more hopes that we are going to hike. My bear is also sleepy and he can’t wait anymore for bedtime, he collapsed on top of the bed.
Guess what, my WP blog receives a lot of spam comments, I wonder how those people stumble to my blog. Well of course I don’t approve them because it is all about promoting products and links.
